Must… read…. more… monographs…
by Alex
Over the weekend I went to a library sale at the Bishop Museum. It got written up by an article in the Advertiser. The quote from me in the article: “It’s always fun for a professor to come home after work and read a few monographs“
You, sir, are a freak.
I assume it was a good sale?
Did you get “Pacific Island Rat Ecology: 1955-1958″? If so, can I buy it from you? I know a guy from PNG who studies rat ecology at 8 sites in PNG who would love it. He is also the first Gimi-speaker to study abroad!! He goes to ANU in January to start a MS program. Fingers crossed that someday he will be the first to get a Ph.D.
Sorry. I gave that one a pass. I was very well-behaved, actually, and did my best to keep the air-to-book ratio in my apartment at a decent level.
